The article mainly focuses on the energy consumption problems, which exist in the municipal wastewater systems. On the base of comprehension of the energy consumption problems of municipal wastewater systems, a sort of energy metabolize model is brought forward, which analyses the course of activated sludge energy metabolize from the aspect of microorganism. And finally the model will be used to guide the engineering design Firstly, the article anayses the energy survy of five wastewater plants in Shandong province. The results indicate: the average value of electricity energy consumption of the plants surveyed is 0.206kWh/m3, among which the part of pre-disposal occupies 24%, biological 65%, sludge disposal 10%. The aeration equipment occupies 40~60% energy consumption, which holds a considerable part of electricity energy consumption. Therefor, it is significant to improve the manner of aeration. On the base of the survey, the article discusses micro-mechanism of activated sludge plant energy metabolize and builds up energy kinetics equations as below:,,。 The arctial discusses the influence to decomposition velocity received from DO, which proves there is a few change of decomposition velocity under different DO level. During the experiment, we find there is a level discrepancy of the constant qmax under high concentration and low concentration..After analyzing the problem, we advance an energy dominant model, which is used to modify the contrast of the constant. The model below is also used to deduct new design equations. The experiment validates the energy kinetics equations and the energy dominant model. It also evaluates the value of canstant YT,Kd,KE,A,mNADH,YATPmax,mATP. The significance of the energy kinetics equations is to present a kind of foundation of confirming SRT. The equations take energy into account, and take specific energy consumption ratio as a bridge between energy and substance. At the same time, it evaluates the quantity of disposal and influent organism load.
