One of the critical factors to develop our province to be a largest base of phosphorous compound fertilizer is to make use of phosphorous mineral resources appropriately and efficiently. Although there is abundant of phosphorous mineral in Yunnan province, the best phosphorous mineral is under 10% of the total. Through so many years of exploitation, preservation of the best phosphorous mineral is little. It is keen that mid-and-low phosphorous mineral exploitation and research becomes the urgent problem of the development of the Yunnan phosphorous chemistry engineering. From many years, soil resource has been running down and water resource has been being contaminated because of the disuse of much mid-and-low phosphorous mineral. We have gained a rather good result in Jiangchuan Qingshuigou phosphorous mineral by method of calcination-digestion - classification - electric selection, secondly, partially demineralization of CaCO3, MgCO3, quartz silica, iron and alumina ect. according to the need of mineral in wet producing phosphorate and by processing the mid-and-low phosphorous mineral. Before doing this we have been read and analyzed many documents according to the mid-and-low mineral fact of Yuannan phosphorous mineral.1.available high-quality mineral containing 30% P2O5, above 3% MgO/P2O5 and R2O3 and 83.26% recovery for the 24.5-24.9% mid mineral.2.available mineral containing 28.78% P2O5 and 79.64% recovery for the 19.5-19.9% silica mineral.3.available increasing 13 percent of P2O5 and 62.73% recovery for the 14.5-14.9% low mineral. We also have investigated the optimized technology of electric selection, establishing the ground for industrialization in the next stage.
