Making iron coating aluminium cladding materials and using them,a rational technological process of Fe3Al build-up layer on 2.25Cr-lMo steel surface by cladding is determined and the correspondent relation between the Al content in filler metals and which in build-up layer was established, and the influence of Al content on cracking, microstructure, mechanical property of the build-up layer was also investigated. The Al content range in which the Fe3Al by a Chemical Function between Fe and Al could be obtained was determined, so as to provide scientific basis for developing Fe3Al cladding materials.The results are as follows:1. The iron coating aluminium compound welding wires can be made by drawing,whose mading process is : The metal band is made by cutting out iron plank;700 C anneal of metal band; Preparing to wrap the aluminum wire; Restretching reunite wires ;Pull to pull out type; removling grease from welding wires surface.2. Making electrodes with Orthogonal design accord with demand.3. Through TIG cladding process ,the free cracks weld build-up layers will be obtained by using a preheat of 200 C and postweld heat of 700 C for one hour when the Al content in the welding wires is 21.70%~30.81%. Through SWAM cladding process, the free cracks weld build-up layers will be obtained when the Al content in the coating constituents is 15.65%~23.48%.4. The micro-feature of Fe3Al weld overlay fracture shows brittle and the micro-feature of that cleavage.With the increase of Al content,the mixture fracture feature of cleavage and intercrystalline appears in weld build-up layers.
