C2S2 (Continuous Confined Strip Shearing ) is an effective way to make ultrafine grained board and strip, which causes extensive plastic deformation on material by simple shearing.This paper calculates the resistance that may receive in cause of C2S2 deforms and designes C2S2 experimental provision based on this calculation, and then the paper studies the deformation behavior of the 5A02 aluminium alloy strip on this experimental provision. In this paper, the evolution law of the microstructure on the Y plane is observed through metalography experiment and is explained with combination of theoretic shearing model characteristics. Tensile and hardness tests are carried out to characterize the mechanical properties. These experiments show that SA02 aluminium alloy material after C2S2 deforms gains better intensity and hardness performance and the hardness reaches higher and steadier competence after about three or four passes. The hot steady experiment indicates that the sample obviously softens when being heated to about 200.Based on the calculation formula for strain of ECAP, the same formula conformed to C2S2 is deduced. With this foumula, at the , the die wall has no longer slick transition, which causes serious stress centralized. The software MAFAP4.0 is adopted to act the numerical simulation, and the result shows: the sample will appear asymmetric deformation through C2S2, which is mainly caused by the asymmetric distribution of stress; the channel angle and the curvature angle have some impact on the deformation of materials; proper choice of can get great effect strain while reducing difficulty of processing.
