Widespread attention has been paid on derivatives of tetrathiafulvalene (TTF) and dithiolene and their charge transfer complexes for many years, because they exhibit novel redox, optical, electronic and magnetic properties. In this paper, three dithiolate complexes and one TTF derivative have been synthesized and characterized by spectral analysis. The structures of [Ni(Phen)3][Ni(mnt)2]-C3H6O,[Ni(biPy)3][Ni(mnt)2]J(4,4'-biPyH2)][Cu(mnt)2] and C16H)0N2S4 have also been determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction. Although there are no S S contacts, hydrogen bonds of C-H N, C-H S, N-H N and interactions have been found in these compounds. All of these compounds exhibit reversible redox behaviors. In addition, compound C16H10N2S4 is a new TTF derivative and its metal coordination polymers have been synthesized and characterized.
