It is a new method which increase polysaccharide content of the edible and medical fungi by ion implantation . This paper shows that the mutagenic breeding of the edible and medical fungi and Xinjiang ferulae mushroom by N+ ion implantation, which widen the application range of ion beam bioengineering in the edible microbe and the industrial microbe , moreover, the study will be significant for increasing fungus polysaccharides content. Lots of studies were done , after the fermentation technical process, breeding methods and screening process were made certain. The optimum ion implantation doses of increasing content of fungi polysaccharide were ascertained and the cell engraved was observed by ion implantation by many batches of ion implantation experiments. The protected agents were selected by ion implantation. In order to increase directivity and efficiency ,the optimum culture medium components were made certain according to breeding methods. It was evident that increasing the polysaccharide content of the edible and medical fungus by N+ ion implantation in this study. At last, the high-yield strain 2a-3 was obtained, which fermentation period was four days .The polysaccharide content of strain 2a-3 was increased 20.33% and 18.53% respectively outside and inside of cell, compared to strain without ion implantation. It would establish base for the further research and exploration of fungus polysaccharide.
