The Furniture Display In The Chinese Traditional Style Interior

Nowadays, human value within interior and furniture has been regarded more highly, so culture connotation such as history, nationality and tradition have been excavated and expressed on architecture, interior and furniture. These three not only unified the practicability and the artistry, but should content the higher psychological needs. In fact, furniture display are highly important for the interior style. Started with research on the characters of Chinese traditional interior furniture display, this thesis analyzes the reasons of those characters from traditional conception, philosophy and aesthetics. Furthermore, expounds the course of those characters form by means of furniture and its display's evolvement, and analyses the application of furniture to traditional interior compartmentation. Finally, this thesis probes into the application of traditional furniture and its display to modem interior design, and puts forward proposals. This thesis's analysis on traditional furniture display will offer some references for modem Chinese style interior design, and will dedicate to modem Chinese furniture design.
