The Comparative Research Of China-Japan Industry Design And The Elightenment To China's Furniture Industry

The research objects of this paper are industry design of Japan from the Second World War to 1980s, and modern furniture industry of China from Reform and Opening. Study the society environment, industry enterprise, and design management of the two in the way of comparison and analysis. Then get some enlightment: the whole environment for industry design of Japan is better than that for modern furniture industry of China, with the efforts of Japan government and society associations, which is worthy learned; Japan' s industry enterprises have strong competition capability, because of unique regulation and culture, and China' s furniture enterprises are doing related adjustment; Design management of Japan enterprises have advantages as well as shortcomings, which providing experiences and lessons for that of furniture enterprises of China.
