On this paper, a chemical deposition technique is studied to coat TiH2 with Al2O3, which increase the releasing hydrogen temperature of TiH2 and delay the decomposed times of TiH2 in melt aluminum clearly as compared to uncoated TiH2 by tested in laboratory.According to the result of test, an Al2O3-TiH2. as foamer, had been made with buffer pH solution. In which the composition and reaction rale of combination process must be controlled.With scanning electron microscopy (SEM), it is clear to observe that the shape of TiH2 powder is changed from sharp after coated. It is also easy to analyze by electric probe patterns that the surface of TiH-j powder is coated by Al2O3.More studied with orthogonal experiment, the influence factor of coated process had been compared. The result shown that the symmetrical and compact coating layer can be obtained by suitable composition and reaction rate of compound process.Using the orthogonal experiment to analyses coating's parameter and its influence of technology, a optimizes technology has been given, andsimply analysis shown that a fine and close comparatively satisfied coating can be realized by way of controlling reaction rate and composition of solution.A self-made device used to measure the hydrogen release curve ( V-T ) of coated TiH2/and TiH2 was founded, and the results show that the hydrogen released characteristic of coated TiH: had been improved and hydrogen released time had been delayed.With the coated TiH2, the foaming process of aluminum has been researched in the laboratory. The results indicate that the weight of foamer and viscosity increaser sending to the melt aluminum, the time of agitation and holding at foaming temperature, will influence the structure as well as porosity of foam aluminum, so that the structure of foam aluminum can be adjusted by improvement technology parameter which is practical.
