| This thesis describes in detail current technologies and prospects of flue gas desulphurization. Based on a self-designed activated carbon desulphurization bench unit, activated carbon desulphurization have been studied systematically. In allusion to activated carbon and activated carbon soaked by KI solution, experiments about the dependence of efficiency on various oxygen amount, steam amount, temperature of activated carbon bed and time in which flue gas goes through the bed have been carried out. In the above case, reasonable ranges of the above parameters have been given. SEM, Element-analyzing and denitragen experiments on both activated carbon and processed one have been performed.Theoretically, based on absorption theories, the mechanism of activated carbon desulphurization has been discussed. Combined with the SEM pictures, it is concluded that activated carbon desulphurization is a process of physical, chemical absorption and water absorption. All these work and conclusions will provide guidance to the practical application and the development of activated carbon desulphurization. |
