As artificial lift methods are employed in oil recovery, corrosion and scale is a significant adverse phenomenon you should not overlook. Electric submersible pumps (ESP) is one of important lift equipment, it is equiped of underground 500 mto 3500m .the corrosion fluid and other corrosive media exert severe corrosion . Extraordinary, the new technology of life methods are being utilized , which lead to the serious problem of corrosion and scale for Electric submersible pumps (ESP) equipment, and cut down the life of Electric submersible pumps (ESP) greatly. The corrosion media in some oil fields are different each other, so the influence are for ESP. it is different for ESP to influence.This paper is discussed the used information of Electric submersible pumps (ESP) in corrosion environment. They are included four parts: anti-corrosion HaS, anti-corrosion CO2, anti-corrosion sea-water, anti-corrosion scale. CO2 corrosion lead to corrode and make scale for ESP, CO2 is a kind of corrosion gas which will cause scale and pot corrosion in the ESP housings. Scale accumulate inside the pumps, separators or intakes, blocks the flowing passages, this scale badly reduces the pump efficiency, and reduce production. H2S corrosion for Electric submersible pumps (ESP) include uniformity corrosion and pot corrosion, among the total, the pot corrosion is more harmful to housings . the most corrosion is stress corrosion which cause Electric submersible pumps (ESP) to lower in downhole well. The failures were recorded as electrical problems associated H2S attack of the electrical connectors, main cable, motor flat lead, and the motor.Another ,the paper is simple analyzed the corrosion reason of Electric submersible pumps (ESP) in H2S ,CO2, sea-water and scale media .We do some indoor test,according to the corrosion reason, We design the anti-corrosion on the base of ESP, and select accordingly the measure of shelter. This will raise the anti-corrosion measure of Electric submersible pumps (ESP) in different corrosive media. Which try for arriving the normal run life of Electric submersible pumps (ESP) ,which will content the need indoor and internal oil fields. This can extract the adaptability of ESP, and expand the used domain.
