This paper deals with biochemical characteristics of terramycin wastewater degraded by anaerobic and aerobic microbes .Through the experimentation carried out on a labscale ,a systematical study shous that (1)When terramycin was kept at the levels of 200Mg/mL in its waste water, a definite time of culturing anaerobic organic contaminations was able to produce a steadiness of effects on its biochemical treatment.(2)When the rate of carbon to nitrogen (COD/TN)in waste water from terramycin production was practically 7.2, the biochemically anaerobic process of orgenism in waste water was obviously inhibited;a higher ratio of NH3-N in TN of waste water was not good for anaerobic nitrification process of organic contaminations .(3) An anaerobic-aerobic process and a cycle return of nitrification-denitrification had a better impact on terramycin waste water with high nitrogen content and potently poisonous residues not easy to be degraded by micro-organism. When the influent was 2000~3000mg/L,the organism removal rate by using the nitrification equipmentwas constantly at 80% or so.(4)When nitrification-denitrification system operated and the return flow ratio was 1:2~1:3.5,55%~60% of nitrogen can be removed.
