The processes used in the fertilizer plant of Ping An fertilizer Industry Ltd. Company were systematically analyzed. The organic Sulfur contained in the coal-derived syngas was dramatically reduced through technology innovation and optimization of production processes operation. Meanwhile, the influence of organic sulfur to the synthesis of ammonia was greatly avoided. The consumption in the fertilizer production was also decreased remarkably. The index of processes was promoted. As the result , the production amount and quality of ammonia were increased. The plant obtained considerable economic benefits. The summarization are as following:1. Optimization of coal gasification process and employing principal of "Three high and one short" to reduce the synthesis and influence of organic sulfur.2. Optimization operation of water gas shift reaction and promoting activity of organic sulfur hydrolysis reaction in order to removal organic sulfur.3. Optimization process of carbon dioxide removal, Controlling the content of surplus organic sulfur and putting forward the advanced sulfur removal process.4. Reduction and sulfidation process for ZnFe2O4 desulforizer could be described by the models in which the reaction can be divided into two stage controlling zones, one is surface chemical reaction controlling zone at initial another is grain diffusion controlling zone at the last stage.
