Golden-ink is widely used in print and package. But a lot of problems are found when golden-ink is really used especially in offset on paper. Losing-gloss is most badly one. So to deal with this problem and direct the practice, this paper presents a new method that is through adding corrosion inhibitor to avoid this. During the course of this paper a large number of experiments are done. Based on the basic theories of high-molecular chemistry, metal corrosion and protection theory, this paper provides a deep research on performance of golden-ink, the reason of losing-gloss, its separateness and the absorption mechanism of corrosion inhibitor from a microcosmic point of view. Meanwhile, integrating the practice, three part of experiments are done. Probe experiments provide the basic prescription of golden-ink, the single factor experiments provide the best adding quantity of two kind of additives; upon which intersectant experiments of additives provide the best scheme to deal with the losing-gloss of golden-ink. All experiment are under the acid environment to simulate the real offset circumstance. And gloss is the final evaluating value. At last a lot of factors effecting the gloss of golden-ink, for example measure method, paper, technology of print, etc are analyzed to build an important basis for the further research in this aspect. At the same time it can be a guilder for real product and print.
