Nowadays construction of underground gas storage is an underway project in China . Taking this great opportunity , we did meaningful research and discussion on hydrocarbon gas injection EOR for North-Pault-Block , WangChang oilfield in its later high water cut period. This is done for the first time.On the basis of the former research and abundant data of geology, drill ing, log and analysis test data, we got structure models and attribute models (such as porosity and permeability models) for the mainly 6 oil field sand body of North-Fault-Block by the means of two-steps modeling idea and stochastic modeling technology .We used long cores in order to get hydrocarbon gas injection EOR efficiency , and got PVT parameters .We studied residual oil distribution using reservoir engineering and determined the injection capability of inject wells, lastly reservoir numerical simulation studied 8 different programs to optimize the best program combining with respective economy evaluation index.In one word , this paper will guide North-Fault-Block' s field application of hydrocarbon gas injection using gas storage , i t's valuable and will exercise a great influence.
