The auto-control of air-valve is a difficult problem in the jigger control project, the capability of the auto-control of air-valve affects the delamination of the coal bed directly. So, it is important to study the control of the air-valve. The purpose of this thesis is to design an experimental device based on hydraulic servo control to simulate the working state of the jigger air-valve, then to provide auto-control of air-valve with hardware base.Due to the non-linear reciprocation of the electro-hydraulic servo system and the time variation of the load, and as the accurate dynamics model is difficult to establish, fuzzy control to realize this goal is proposed in this thesis.In the study of this thesis, the basic fuzzy controller is designed, several modified fuzzy control arithmetic is proposed, then simulation to the system by MATLAB is carried and the control effect of the fuzzy control arithmetic is assured. Throughthe design of the hardware and the software of the system, the fuzzy control of single room jigger by the hydraulic servo system and the effective simulation of the working state of the jigger air-valve is realized. The experiment shows: the modified fuzzy control arithmetic can decrease the fluctuation and the response time and build up the celerity and the stability of the system response.
