| Nanostructured Bi2S3,CdS and ZnS semi conductors with different sizes and morphologies were synthesized using hydrothermal, solvothermal and liquid-phase method at low temperature through changing reaction conditions. The products were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), selected area electron diffraction (SAED). The effects of reaction conditions (solvent, reaction temperature and time, surfactant) on purity, size, and morphology of the resulting products were studied. Meanwhile, we discussed the mechanism of some morphology to realize the controlling of the size and morphology of products. The results indicate that the higher reaction temperature and the longer reaction time will lead to the formation of larger size. For the different starting materials , the optimum solvent is different too. we put forward a reasonable mechanism for the formation of rod-like morphology of CdS, indicating the different major factor which influence the length and diameter of CdS nanorod respectively. We prepared ZnS under a milder condition through changing the starting materials. |
