In order to promote the development of Two-Axle Bending Technique with Elastic Roller(TABTER) and to apply TABTER to making non-circular cross-section tubal parts, numeric control of TABTER is studied in this thesis. The main work and results in this thesis can be concluded as follows.1 .The prototype TABTER NC machine is developed, which has the character of high maching precision, good flexibility and low labor strength. The thickness of workpiece to be used is less than 1mm, and the width of workpiece is less than 60mm. The circumradius of the workpiece can range from 6mm to 50mm.2.The autocontrol model of TABTER for non-circular cross-section tubal parts is built, which makes great contribution to realization of numeric control of TABTER.3.The open loop and close loop numeric control systems of TABTER are developed for the first time. By using each of the two systems, every non-circular cross-section tubal parts without sharp corner, such as polygon and ellipse, can be formed. The average forming speed of open loop control system is about 6mm/s. The precision of close loop control is better than that of open loop control. But the average forming speed of close loop control is about 1mm/s which is lower than that of open loop control. |
