Coil box is widely used in the overseas steel companies,and some big internal steel companies started to use it recently . Company can achieve considerable benefit from it . But in the state of internal equipment,some is imported from other countries,and some is buyed directly . There is not any datum about the structural parameters,the dynamic parameters,and the mechanical parameters of coil box in nation,and other countries can not afford these datum from the economic angle . So real "national" coil box design can not to be done presently .On the basis of the theory of stretch distortion,according to the reality facts,with the geometrical figuration method,this paper affords the mathematical modules about the structural parameters,the dynamic parameters,the positional parameters,the mechanical parameters and the technical parameters of coil box,and programs a design software system . The main jobs and results show that:With the mechanical knowledge and technical condition,affords the mathematical modules about the roller diameter value range,the roller wheelbase value range and the axis neck diameter value range of coil box,and gives the method of experiential values .With the method of geometrical figuration,calculates the mathematical module of coil box gap . And base on it,affords the mathematical modules of the top rollers rising speed in the winding period of coil box . With these modules,can control the automatic dynamic parameters in the real manufacture .Based on the mechanical knowledge,with the method of geometricalfiguration,explain the most import state-the second-distortion from themechanical angle and the mathematical angle,deduces the mathematical module about the Dmin With it,according to computational calculation,can realize positional calculation of figuration roller . With the technical condition in manufacture,can realize positional calculation of holding rollers .With the mechanical knowledge,deduces some important mechanical parameters,technical parameters mathematical modules . Includes:the touchstress between roller and sheet,axis neck cutting stress,moment,Pmax,Nmax,Dmax and electromotor power .Based on these modules,program a set of coil box design software system with maturity function . The system has the design function and the analysis function . It can either do automatic design or do personal design analysis,and can be well used in reality .
