There are more than 100 kinds components which are pharmacody-activity and bio-activity in aloe vera. Among them Aloe-emodin is the main component.In this paper, we compared the separation effect of resin GD-3, GD-4 and GD-10 to avalible components of aloe ethanol extract. A preparation method using column ehromatography was developed. Macroporous resin GD-10 was employed as the stationary phase. And gradient elution with ethanol aqueous solution was employed as mobile phase. The separation condition was also determined, injecting velocity 2.0ml/min, injecting concentration 5.0g/l, eluting velocity 2.0ml/min in preparation ehromatography, less than 1 .Oml/min in analysis ehromatography.The adsorption ability of of resin GD-10 for aloe extract was determined. The adsorption capacity is 1120mg/g, adsorption ratio is 80%, refresh ratio is 92.7% through dynamic adsorption method. The resin also has excellent adsorption capability after used more than twenty times.The main component, aloe-emodin, in aloe ethanol extract was obtained. It's structure was determined by UV-Vis, IR, MS and 'HNMR.The extraction condition of Aloe-emodin was also determined. Aloe-emodin was extracted by ethanol aqueous solution(60%) with ultrasonic for 45 minutes and three times.
