In this study, the contents of 5 kinds heavy metals, in the eggs and nestling tissues of Grey Heron and the tissues of fishes from Zhalong wetland, were measured an analyzed with atom absorbed spectrophotometer, and the distribution law of these metals were also studied. The results indicated that there were significant regularities in the distribution of heavy metals in the shell and inside materials of eggs, so they can be used to be basis for evaluting the contamination of copper(Cu), zinc(Zn), manganese(Mn) , piumbum(Pb)and cadmium(Cd). The accumulating of measured heavy metals (Cu, Zn, Mn, Pb and Cd) in the tissues of Grey Heron was different, the total content of different heavy metals was: Zn>Cu> Mn>Cd>Pb. The distribution law of in the tissues and feather of Grey Heron was : Cu: nestling of 5 days liver>feather>kidney>muscle; nestling of 25days liver > kidney > feather>muscle; Zn: nestling of 5 days feather>kidney >muscle>liver; nestling of 25 days feather>liver>muscle>kidney; Mn: nestling of 5 days feather > liver >kidney>muscle; nestling of 25 days liver>feather>kidney>muscle; Pb: nestling of 5 days feather> muscle >liver> kidney; nestling of 25 days feather >muscle>liver>kidney; Cd: nestling of 5 days feather>muscle>liver>kidney; nestling of 25 days feather > liver > kidney >muscle. The anslysis of feather of Grey Heron nestling can be a indicator of the accumulation of Cu, Zn, Mn, Pb and Cd in the tissues of Grey Heron nestling to evaluate and estimate the quality of Grey Heron inhabit. The qualities of Cu, Zn, Mn, Pb and Cd in the biological organisms of every trophic level of Zhalong wetland ecosystem accumulated and magnified with the increase of food chain degree. The accumualtion law of heavy metal in the tissues along with the bioligical trophic level was strong. This paper only preliminarily studied the distributing of 5 kinds heavy metals in the 4 different tissues of Grey Heron nestling. The future study should emphasize on the baneful concentration of accumulated heavy metals in the Grey Heron and its range. But this study established a base for the future study , and offer some useful parameters.
