| Cryomilling machine which can work in liquid nitrogen was designed and refitted. Cryomilling of FeAlx, (Fe0.94Ti0.o6)Alx and(Fe0.94B0.o6)Alx (x=l,3) have been performed in refitted highenergy plant ball mill for different milling time. We have studied the structure of alloy powders by X-ray diffraction. The morphology of some specimens were analyzed by scanning electron microscopy. We have also studied the thermal stability of alloy powders by differential scanning calorimeter. We found that Al can dissolve fast in Cryomilling , a small quanitity of Ti-substitution for Fe in Fe-Al system has no effect for Cryomilling, but a snail mount of B-substitution for Fe in Fe-Al system can accelerate the dissolve of Al in Fe. |
