Researches on Process of Removing Hydrogen Sulfide from Sour Gaswith Alkali Waste LiquorAbstract: On the basis of carrying out chemical analysis of the contents of alikali waste liquor from caustic wash process in producing course for oil-refining ,this paper has carried out carbonization research for alikali waste liquor, has explored the influence of conditions such as air flux, alikali waste liquor concentration, carbonization temperature etc and rate of flow of carbon dioxide on alikali waste liquor carbonization degree .Along with the increase of the rate of flow of carbon dioxide, carbonization degree increases , carbonization degree has best value. Along with the increase of air flux, carbonization degree drops, carbonization degree is infuluenced by alikali waste liquor concentration and has best value , concentration greater, sulpHur ion oxidation is not complete , concentration lower, the content of sodium hyposulflte is higher. Temperature higher, the carbonization degree is high , but passes high temperature to be beneficial to sodium hyposulfite generation. The test research on process of removing hydrogen sulfide from sour gas with alikali waste liquor, haveproved that the methods of chemical absorption and wet oxidation can removing hydrogen sulfide from sour gas. The high total alkalinity and absorbing tower ratio of liquid to air is beneficial to absorption, lye revivesprocess is influenced by air flux and the lye internal circulating load, high air flux and low lye internal circulating load have good effect for lye revive . Long period operation result has proved that the amount of sodium hyposulflte generated and catalyst and lye consumption is not large , the generation of sodiumhyposulflte is influenced mainly by the pH of lye and the carbon dioxide in system. Low pH value can restrain the generation of sodium hyposulflte. High regenerative temperature is helpful for sodium bicarbonatechange into sodium carbonate.
