Petroleum is either the blood of modern industry or the strut of our nation in oil domain. It has been bringing numerous advantages for human civilization, but at the same time, however, it also bringing some negative influences on our daily living, and the influences may usually not be ignored. For example, the smudging mud producing in the oil extraction is the pollute matter to the circumstance.In the process of sedimentation of water-driving or polymer-driving oil production, to deal with and utilize the smudging mud at the bottom of the jar becomes a desiderating problem. With the sanity of decrees and statutes enhanced and protective circumstance consciousness strengthened, the smudging mud treatment has more and more been becoming an important issue, and people think more of it for overcoming the problem. Nowadays the treatment method has been become an important scientific research task.Owing to the special location environment, it is comparatively earlier for starting the research at the other oilfields in our country, such as Shengli, Dagang, Huabei, Liaohe and Zhongyuan oilfields. The methods of smudging mud treatment adopted by them are all the same characteristics, making the mud into stratum of the oil wells.The main area coverage of Daqing oilfield has come into high or super-high water containing period in the oil extraction. In order to control water capacity and stabilize the oil output, one method named adjustable section is being adopted. The method can compel the driving liquid passing by low infiltration layer and reaching adjustable sucking water section by plugging up the high infiltration layer. It can enlarge the influencing volume and heighten the crude oil recovery ratio. For the purpose, we graduate school start to gather the smudging mud samples from 1 oil department of No.3 oil produced company and No.2 oil produced company of Daqing oilfield to analyze. The experimental evaluation include as sample division, mud particle diameter and oil components analysis, mud particle diameter sedimentation investigation, the matching capability test of mud particle diameter and rock-throat path diameter, smudging mud and polymer solution flooding experiment, the numerical simulation of the effect of smudging mud polymer. The research and theory analyses indicate that the mud from the stratum has the nicer matching capability to its mother body (stratum). If the mud would be injected into the stratum, it should heighten the effect of enveloping stratum, furthermore, and solve the problem of mud-let. So we say, smudging mud back into the stratum not only has widely foreground, but also can generate numerous economy and society benefit, and simultaneously it provides an efficient way of utilizing and treating with the smudging mud for no poison.
