These kind of complexes have the widely use am ong the catalysis chemistry, material chemistry, molecular-based magnetic materi al and biological modeling applications. In this paper, four novel multicenter complexes with dicarboxylates and transiti on metal with N, N'-chelate ligand have been synthesized, and two novel ferric ( III) ion complexes with dicarboxylates and transition metal have been synthesize d. These six complexes are:â‘ Homo-multinuclear ion complex [Fe(phen)3][Fe(phen) (C2O4)2]?13H2O;②Hetero-dinuclear ion complex [Fe(phen)3]2[Mn(C2O4)3](OH)2?13H2 Oï¼› â‘¢Homo-nuclear ion mixed-valence complex [Fe(phen)3]2[Fe(C2O4)3](OH)?2CH3OH? 6H2Oï¼› â‘£Hetero-multinuclear ion complex [Co(phen)3]3[Fe(C2O4)3]2?15H2O;⑤simpl y hetero-multinuclear ion complexes Cr[Fe(C2O4)3] ?6H2O and â‘¥simply hetero-mult inuclear ion complexes Mn3[Fe(C2O4)3]2?10H2O.The complexes have been studied by elemental analyses, IR spectra, electronic re flectance spectra. Three crystal structures of complexes [Fe(phen)3][Fe(phen)(C2 O4)2]?13H2O, [Fe(phen)3]2[Mn(C2O4)3](OH)2?13H2OH and [Fe(phen)3]2[Fe(C2O4)3](OH) ?2CH3OH?6H2O have been determined by single X-ray structure analysis. Some concl usions have been summarized. This kind of complexes contains the excellent electronic function, which can be used as the electric conduction material, model complexes for molecular-based ma gnetic material. It has already been a new hot point in material chemistry study , which could have very good applications.
