This paper presents the determination of calcium salt content in the natural juice and sugar by spectrophotemety with chlorophosphonazolll. The absorbance maximum of the complex is 663nm, bear s law is obeyed in the range of 0~28ug/50ml for calcium, a linear regression between absorbance and calcium salt content is obtained: C=0.0076A+0.0006, R2=0.9995, the apparent molar absorptivity is 1.53×104L/mol.cm.Natural juice is well known for the complexity of its chemical composition. In this paper, the influence of other substance to the analytical results of calcium is detail studied. Results clearly indicate that amounts of sucrose, reducing sugar starch. inorganic anions cannot affect the analytical results of calcium salt by spectrophotometric method. The analytical method is used directly to determine the content of calcium salt in natural water mixed juice clarified juice syrup and sugar. Results clearly indicate that: this method has high sensitivity and selectivity for Ca2~ in the experimental conditions; the result of accuracy and precision are in good agreement with those obtained by EDTA.IIThe method for analysis of calcium salt in natural juice has advantages of simplicity fast response, fast analysis, high sensitivity and selectivity, can be used to analyze several sample at the same time, provides the base for automatic analysis and analysis on line.
