The process energy system optimization is to reach the goal of fewer equipment investments and lower consuming energy and better economic benefits.Gasoline fractionator is the first biggest tower equipment among furnace system and cracking gas compressor and separation refinery system. It's one of the most important equipment and the bottleneck influencing the production capacity of the ethylene plant. Its operation condition influences whether the total system runs well and the output reaches the prescriptive criteria.As the practical background is selected by simulating and optimizing gasoline fractionator and quench tower and fuel oil stripper in the ethylene plant, the paper analyzes and concludes the operating data, summarizes the safe range data of operating parameters and evolves the whole system, provides credible data and adjustable bound values.A new retrofit integration of gasoline fractionator with heat exchanger network and the utility system is presented. The main achievements of the dissertation are as follows:1. By means of the mature chemical system simulation software桝SPEN PLUS, the quench system and fuel oil stripper are simulated and calculated. The models adopt the GRAYSON and NRTL equation, and the outcomes are tested by HuanQiu and LUMUS 's schemes and fitted well. The detailed results of the tower temperature, pressure, enthalpy and composition profiles are obtained.2. Parameters are confirmed by applying the function of sensitivity analysis and optimization of ASPEN software; aiming at the heat duty of the dilution steam generation, the system is optimized with the SQP algorithm.3. Facing the choice of the unknown composition, the paper adopts the single group and double one and tri-composition respectively for simulating and selects tri- composition as the pseudo composition at last.4. The model is tested by ascertaining and simulating the existing conditions. The paper analyzes the disagreement of the existing and present the retrofitting cases: run the fuel oil stripper that didn't run in the field, pick out the stream 139 from the middle of the tower DAI01 and feed the tower DA 103 for decreasing the viscosity of quench oil. Like other similar plant, when not to influence the heat duty of the dilution steam generation, the duty is adopted from the middle circumfluence to reach the energy utilization reasonably.5. With ASPEN PLUS software, the paper simulates the quench system by neural networks, constructs the NN model to complete the simple simulation and calculation of the quench system.
