The marketing background, technical scheme, environment-friendly industrialized experiment, product recipe, polyreaction, and the production scale of the project Technological Development of Commercial Processing with the Annual Output of 100,000 Tons of Environment-friendly SBR were studied in this paper. The Process Package of Producing SBR with the Annual Output of 100,000 Tons was designed. And the package got proprietary intellectual property right. It was applied to the new plant successfully. So the monopoly of processing SBR owned by foreign company was broken because of steady operation and considerable benefit.Low temperature emulsion polymerization was decided to be the technical scheme base on the market analysis. Based on market demend, we obtain to the manufacturing capacity. Product recipe and product brand were identified according to the industrialized experiment.Then the manufacturing capacity and the planned dispatching of different product branch were put forward. General thought of designing the Process Package of Producing SBR with the Annual Output of 100,000 Tons was conceived and the detailed design was finished.Make sure the process parameters and control condition of polymerization and condensation according to lab trial and scale-up trial of environment-friendly termination agent and inhibitive agent.We obtained the industrialized parameters based on the industrialized study in SBR unit.DIK was admitted by international industry and European government, told experimental product have no nitroso-compound(cancerogen). China Rubber Testing Center examined the rubber product that had good quality. Compared rubber product with SBR1500 by tire company, rubber product quality was similar with SBR1500.The reaction mechanism model of processing SBR S1500E was built by fitting the thermodynamic parameters and adjusting the reaction kinetics parameters using flowsheet simulating with Polymer Plus. The result shows that the percent conversion, the percent combination of styrene, and the number average molecular weight were in accordance with emulsion polymerization and the analysis result of the plant. The relative error was less than 4%. The model was then put into use in expand production. The effect of the quantities and the point where the evocating agent and modifying molecular weight agent were added on the performance of SBR was studied in this paper.This project based on the research won first progress prize in science and technology which was hosted by China National Petroleum Corporation in 2008.Industrial unit went into operation successfully.
