The conjugated porphyrin macrocycle is an aromatic system containing 18Ï€electrons. A member of metals can be inserted into the porphyrin cavity by using various metal salts. In the Uv-Vis absorption spectra, the highly conjugated porphyrin macrocycle shows intense absorption at higher wavelengths(450-700nm). The porp- hyrin ring is very stable to light and heat. The porphyrin has many special physical behaviors, chemical behaviors and other functional behaviors. As the particular struc- ture and the nature of the porphyrins, they are importance in the field of photoelectro- nic conversion, catalytic materials, solar storage and microanalysis, etc. Today, the research on porphyrin derivation is more and more active.Porphyrin and its derivative were excellent organic semiconductor materials and they were received considerable attention in recent years.Photodynamic Therapy(PDT) and photosensitivizers(mostly of porphyrins)are another active and hot topics. PDT is a promising new treatment modality for several diseases, most notably cancer. In PDT, light, O2, and a photosensitizing drug are combined to produce a selective therapeutic effect. Moreover, photosensitivizers have a important effect. Although thousands kinds of porphyrins have been studied to use as photosensitivizers, clinical PDT drug for cancer, is still photofrin developed in 1960s in abroad. Because the most commonly used porphyrin photosensitizers are far from ideal with respect to PDT, finding a suitable photosen- sitizer is crucial in improving the efficacy of PDT. Lately, there have been active research on new photosensitizer candidates, the purpose is to trying to sort out those photosensitizers that are advantageous for PDT.Now people often modify the Porphyrin compounds with nitrogen heterocycle or nitrogen arylcycle to get better luminescence performance. Based on this, some new porphyrins and these zinc complexes were synthesized in my paper. All these compounds were identified by IR, 1HNMR and Element Analysis. The Uv-Vis spectra and fluorescence spectra of these compounds were studied. We also studied their luminescent properties by excitation and emission spectra and found that were able to emit fluorescence in the red light district, which were proved that porphyrin could be used as efficient sensitizer. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | porphyrins, metalloporphyrin complexes, synthesis, characterize, spectrum properties | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
