When two portons at inside ring are displacedby the metal ion, metalloporphyrins is made up. Since the porphyrin and its metalcomplexes have a special structure and properties, they play an important role inanalytical chemistry, functional materials, molecule identification and photo-electronconversions fields. Carboxyl porphyrin is an important water-soluble porphyrins, theyhave important applications in exploring the mechanism of photosynthesis andincreasing efficiency of photosynthesis.β-substituted porphyrin and its metalcomplexes have been used in catalysis, biological activity and function of materials.Cooperating with previous work in our workshop, the mechanism of interfaceelectron-transfer were studied by different porphyrin modified electrode. In order toinvestigate and reveal the electron and ion transfer in organism, metalloporphyrinswere applied at Liquid/Liquid interface to stimulate the basic model of biologicmembrane. A series of differentβ-substituent with porphyrins and metalloporphyrinswere synthesized.The thesie is composed of four chapters as follows:ChapteChapter I: IntroductionA systematic review was given on synthesis characterization and their applicationof porphyrin and metalloporphyrins.Chapter II: Study on synthesis and spectral properties of a series ofcarboxylphenylporphyrin.Carboxylphenylporphyrin were prepared by Adler method. Their structures havebeen demonstrated by UV-vis, IR and 1HNMR.Chapter III: Study on synthesis and spectral properties ofβ-nitro-phenylporphyrinsTheβ-nitro-porphyrin metal complexes was synthesized by one-spot method withconcentrated sulfuric acid / trifluoroacetic acid removaling the metal ions. The structureof the compounds were characterized by IR, UV-vis and 1HNMR.
