With deepening research of the active ingredients of herbs, it has been found that heat-based anti-inflammatory class of Chinese herbal medicine has a good antibacterial or antiviral, antibacterial in vitro, the pharmacological effects of anti-virus has also been found. Recently, due to the good environmental compatibility and drug health functions, the anti-bacterial ingredients of Chinese herbal medicine has been increasingly used for the development of green antibacterial textiles. In this paper, Glycyrrhiza and Taraxacum were ultrafine grinding by the planetary ball mill. Experiment by adjusting the instrument parameters, to finalize the rational speed 300rpm, grinding time 60min, 30% of filling ratio, 25:1 of ball-to-powder ratio were the best conditions for Glycyrrhiza. At the same speed and time, 40 % of filling ratio, 15:1 of ball-to-powder ratio were the best grinding conditions for Taraxacum. The properties of ultrafine powders were been analysis and tested at their best grinding conditions. The average particle size of Glycyrrhiza and Taraxacum ultrafine powders were 403.3nm and 517.6nm, PDI were 0.319, 0.608. Before and after ultrafine grinding the apparent shape of particles are very different, ultrafine grinding in front of relatively large particle size distribution, irregular shape, can clearly observe a number of discrete bundles or fibrous tissue. After grinding fibrous tissue be greatly damaged, do not see a complete fibrous tissue, degree of sphericility of powder particles raised, small volume lobes increased, the uniformity of powders were even better.Ultrasonic dispersion of ultrafine powders in liquid form on the dispersion medium was studied, investigated the effect of ultrasonic power, frequency, time and temperature on zeta potential of the powders. The results showed that the ultrasonic power 135w, frequency of 40 kHz at 60℃for 40min could obtain the best dispersion stability of ultrafine powders. Their zeta potential were about -31mV and -25mV, respectively.Use of solvent on the superfine powder of Glycyrrhiza and Taraxacum extract the active components, the type of solvent, extraction time, liquid ratio and extraction temperature on the herbal extraction of active ingredients, respectively, flavonoids and chlorogenic acid in dandelion the maximum absorbance wavelength test. The results showed that 95% of ethanol used as solvent beneficial flavonoids and chlorogenic acid extraction, the liquid ratio of 50 and 40, respectively, the extraction temperature were 60℃and 50℃, Glycyrrhiza and Taraxacum extract the best. The infrared spectrum analysis can be concluded that the extract contains flavanone and chlorogenic acid, respectively. The fabrics were treated by way of dipping, rolling, drying, and qualitative and quantitative method to test the antibacterial properties of the finished fabric, measured the antibacterial rates of Glycyrrhiza samples against Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli were 81.75%, 73.81%; the inhibitory rates of Taraxacum samples were 85.36%, 81%. Extending the contact time of sample with bacteria the inhibitory rate increased to some extent, the contact time than in the 22h was better. Durability of the antibacterial properties were tested, results showed that the durability of the samples obtained by simply padding was limited, the extracts were mixed sol after finishing can improve the performance of fabric washing, but the results not ideal, need to use other technology to further enhance the fastness of antimicrobial composition and fabric.
