Laser shock is a new type of surface strengthening technology for metal material, laser plasma wave could induce larger and deeper residual stress (stress mechanism of strengthening) on metal surface, and produce the structure with high density dislocation on surface, crystal structure and deformation half-curled (organization strengthening mechanism), thus greatly improves performance of metal materials. The refinement of laser shock 12Cr2Ni4A organization mechanism is studied, and the main work and conclusions are as follows:1. The effects of strengthening parameters on material propertiesThrough theoretical analysis and experimental comparison of different processing conditions and parameters of the strengthening of the material surface condition,it determines the laser power intensity, pulse width, constraint condition and spot and coating layer of overlapped rate.2. The analysis of microsture of laser shocked 12Cr2Ni4A materials for laser shockAfter metallographic examination test and XRD, detail elaborated laser shock induced metal surface grain refinement and surface residual stress distribution features, the methods to surface layer grain refinement in product are conducted.
