In order to keep the social development of economy sustainable, it is very important that the water environment quality is analyzed and evaluated rationally, and it is therefore planned, harnessed and managed efficiently. To conduct the water environment analysis, an important basic work is to analyze the hydrodynamic behaviors. The objective of this work is to study the hydrodynamic behavior in lake using hydrodynamic models, and direct way to serve the planning and management for environmental department.This paper employs the Alternating Direction Implicit method to discrete the hydrodynamics governing equations for numerical simulation, and obtains the results of hydrodynamics and concentration fields in succession. The Delft3D is introduced in the pro and after process and numerical with measured data, the computed results accord with the reality approximately, the computing accuracy is good enough.Poyang Lake, the first Largest Lake in our country, is as well as one of the relatively clean lake. However, due to the influences of human activities, unreasonable exploitive and the release of nitrogen and phosphorus which have accumulated in the bottom mud for a long time, the problem of eutrophicate has increased severely in Poyang Lake, which affected its lake environment seriously and restricted the local social and economic development. The Poyang Lake'Hydrodynamic conditions and changes character have been analyzed by remote sensing and hydrological data from 7.15.1989 and 12.10.1999. Meanwhile, based on the international well-know software Delft3D, the Poyang Lake'Hydrodynamic mathematical model was constructed to simulate the flow field, which focused on analysis of a typical wind speed in different situations the hydrodynamic characteristics of the Poyang Lake'. The calculations were well talked with the measured data, which proved the model was true and credible.At last, the analysis of hydrological measured data reveals that the Poyang Lake presents obvious seasonal variety. The results of numerical simulation, in summer and winter, shows that other elements being equal, wind had a certain impact on the flow field structure of the Poyang Lake.
