Cancer is human health killer, they are controlled by DNA. We synthesize six kind of Ruthenium (Ⅱ) Polypyridyl Complexes containing Selenium to study the binding property of G-Quadruplex DNA.In chapter 1, the history of cancer, cisplatin, ruthenium (Ⅱ) polypyridyl complexes and solid synthesis method are briefly introduced.In chapter 2, new Ru(Ⅱ) complexes that are Ru(phense)2Cl2·2H2O,[Ru(Phense)(phen)2](C104)2,[Ru(Phense)2(phen)](C104)2 and [Ru(Phense)3](C104)2 were synthesized. The G-Quadruplex DNA binding properties of these complexes have been investigated with UV-Vis, emission spectra and CD spectra.In chapter 3, new Ru(Ⅱ) complexes that are [Ru(Phense) (bpy)2](C104)2 and [Ru(phense)2(bpy)](C104)2,were synthesized. The G-Quadruplex DNA binding properties of these complexes have been investigated with UV-Vis, emission spectra and CD spectra.
