Apricot is one of the primary fruit trees in XinJiang. Its cultivated area has reached up to 3 million acreage.The species of apricot are mainly for eating. As the place of produce is located in the south of XinJiang, which is far away from the consumption market in our country, and the harvest season of apricots is very shot, the perishability of itself, and lacking of storage refreshing technology, the apricot fruits become rotten largely without restoring and processing in time, most of them are dried in the sun. In the other hand, apricot from XinJiang in the inland market is a blank. Therefore, it is very important to study and find a high efficiency, low cost restoring method.Kumaiti apricot fruit in XinJiang was used to study on the influences caused by striking, extrusion, vibration, package method and preservative reagent on the post-harvest physiology and storage efficiency of apricot through testing the respiratory rate, MDA, ethylene releasing rate, membrane permeability and Vc content.. The experiment results are as follows:1. Make the apricot fall down from different altitudes, which range from 0-120cm, to study the influence on the apricot of striking. The result shows that the climacterics are in advance as the altitude increasing. Compared to the contrast(114h), the total respiration of the apricots fell down from 30cm,60cm,90cm and 120cm are 16%, 49%, 64%, 75% higher respectively.2. Making 0 kg, 1kg, 2kg and 3kg static extrusion on apricots. The result shows that respiratory rate increasing obviously as the static pressure adding. The total respiration of the apricot under 0 kg, 1kg, 2kg and 3kg static extrusion at 114h are 6%, 35% and 52% higher than contrast samples.3. The vibration frequency exert on the apricot fruits range from 2-5.4Hz. The results shows that the total respiration of the contrast apricot fruits (114h) was 283 mg?kg-1?h-1 FW, while the total respiration of the 6h, 12h sample were 374 mg?kg-1?h-1 FW, 398 mg?kg-1?h-1 FW. We can see that they are higher than the contrast 32%, 40% respectively.4. The benzene and politics packages could protect apricot fruits from injuries on the extrusion. The frothing net package could reduce the effects of the cumulated vibration. Adopting benzene and politics packages, apricots on 6th days after harvest commodity rate vary from one another. The commodity rates of the apricots packaged by benzene box, politics box and carton are 83%, 81% and 29%.5. Dealing the apricots with chitosan, bactericidal agent and des-ethylene could effectively decrease the respiratory rate, delay the climacterics. Chitosan management is better than the other two agents.6. Frothing net inner package could reduce the effects of the cumulated vibration; benzene and politics packages outer package could reduce the injury of extrusion; chitosan management could delay senescence after harvest and restrain micro-organism. So we can draw a conclusion that these three methods above are the best ways for the commercial processing of apricots.
