Paper saw layer coal and rock underground and occurred layers fission as composite model, Used a sharp point mutations theory to study the process of coal and rock instability; Used the mutation progression method to forecast the coal and gas outburst dangerous; Used numerical simulation software to analyze permeability erosion stability problems of coal and rock layers. The main research contents and conclusions are as follows:(1) According to the practical engineering, established the mechanical compound model of coal and rock. Used sharp point mutations theoretical derivation to give the criterion of coal and rock instability and failure, described the process of coal and rock instability; Research shows that besides of rich coal gas and coal rock instability has relation with the physical and mechanical properties and geometric dimension, the in-plane loading of rock plate and its foundation coefficient are important factors of its stability.(2) Used mutations progression method, established prediction model of comprehensive evaluation index system and coal and gas outburst according to the influence of Xia yu kou mine coal and gas outburst factors. Studied the situation of outburst mines, determined mutation grade level numerical values and verified them, results fit the practical, so it can undertake practical test.(3) Through the RFPA2D numerical simulation, analyzed the influence of seepage pressure and gas bearing, based on the seepage model, analyzed the influence of excavation step to support pressure and coal gas seepage.
