As a carrier of information, water is capable of transmitting the stress which reflects the dynamic process of crustal stress during the circulation. The water level is a comprehensive reflection of various physical components. Using the specific instrument, we monitor the transformation of the components by measuring the water level. In earthquake monitoring, the dynamic water level can be divided into normal and abnormal dynamics, which consists of the abnormal dynamics that associated with earthquakes and the interference dynamics and some unexplained abnormal dynamics. The study on the interference dynamics contributes a better understanding of the precursor level dynamics. In this study, the research work is carried on by the following procedure: step one: scanning the water level data of"shiwu"digital well net-work and classifying according to the type of the interference; step two: Using the wavelet decomposition and the Wavelet transform method to the three typical data of water level; step three: we get the typical dynamic characteristic of the interference and the way to identify it.The paper is divided into five chapters. The following are the main components of the paper:Chapterâ… introduces the basic knowledge of the water level dynamic both in hydrology and seismology and describes the dynamic water level disturbances.Chapterâ…¡is a brief description of the wavelet method, mainly focus on the basic principles and the application in seismology. Chapterâ…¢are the results of the scanning and classifying of the water level data in'shiwu'digital well net-work. After a brief introduction of'shiwu'digital well net-work, we have summarized the typical curve of the dynamic anomalies and analyzed the interference dynamics and interference factors which caused by integrated observation, power instability and rainfall.Chapterâ…£is the most important part of the paper which is composed of two parts. The first part is getting the specific research objectives and methods. The second part are the details of the research process. We got the interference dynamic characteristics and the method to exclude the integrated observation, power instability interference. Combining the wavelet methods and traditional mathematical methods, we studied the relationship between water level and rainfall. Chapterâ…¤is a summary and discussion of the whole paper. The first part discussed how to select the appropriate wavelet and time, the second part makes conservative estimate of system application in water level due to the limitations of wavelet and the diversity of disturbance.Through this study, the following conclusions are revealed:1. In the study on the abnormal dynamic caused by integrated observation, Using the wavelet decomposition , we identified the typical dynamic characteristic and the specific time series. Further more, we speculated the reason for the interference. The signal reconstruction process is a filtering process,we filter out the interference information and noise information by using the wavelet reconstruction twice.2. In the study on the abnormal dynamic caused by power instability, Using the wavelet decomposition and the Wavelet transform modulus maxima method, we identified the typical dynamic characteristic and the specific time.3. In the study on the abnormal dynamic influenced by rainfall, Using the wavelet decomposition and reconstruction on water level data and rainfall data, it revealed that the reconstructed of the dynamic water level is more clearly than the original water level; The correlation of the reconstructed water level and rainfall is higher than the original data.4.We can identify the disturbance characteristics by the wavelet decomposition, exclude the interference information by the wavelet d reconstruction, remove the noise information through the second wavelet d reconstruction. In the area of the dynamic analysis of water level, the wavelet method played an important role.In this paper, the collection of typical interference water level image provides the prerequisite for the further study, the introduction of wavelet method in water level can offer a new option in intensive study.
