Three-dimensional geological modeling is one of the key issues to be solved in the three-dimensional geographic information system and digital mine, and three-dimensional geological modeling with topological relations is one of the difficulty points in this problem. Since technology of drill has come out, it was recognized by geologist engineers always in case of its visual, accurate and detailed. The object-oriented three-dimensional topological data model based on component is constructed with component and takes fully into account the topological relations of geological objects and its geometry elements. Studying of model construction methods and spatial topological relations of the three-dimensional geological model based on drilling data has great significance of the three-dimensional geological modeling theory and methods. After analyzing the current research status and shortcomings, this paper adjusted the object-oriented three-dimensional topological data model in order to fit for the drill data which is the data source .The paper systematical analyses the topological relations of the geological objects in the object-oriented three-dimensional topological data model based on component, after the study of expression and classification methods and formal description of spatial topological relation. Then the algorithms of component formation and spatial topological relations analysis based on three-dimensional topological data model were proposed. At last an experimental system has been developed used to verify the work of the previous. The results show the feasibility and validity of the basic theories presented in this paper.
