This thesis discusses the impulsive differential equations in the pest control, renewable resources, medicine and the application of microbiological culture. The thesis is divided into four chapters.The first chapter is the introduction. The research background and the relevant critical knowledge in this thesis are given.The second chapter outlines the types of population model with impulsive effect and their relevant results. The renewable resources and the medical aspects of the chemotherapy are summarized in Sectionsâ…¡andâ…¢, respectively.The third chapter, for several types of infectious disease models, presents the application of impulsive differential equations in infectious disease dynamics.The application of the impulsive differential equations in the microorganism culture outlined in Chapter Four.
