Hydrological station on the Minjiang 1966-2002 ZiPingpu the monthly runoff data, the use of chaos theory and wavelet transform in the upper reaches of Minjiang River Runoff on an analysis of the law, and the upper reaches of Minjiang River area runoff predicted. Spring runoff series there was 4a,16a around the main cycle to the main period of the oscillation energy of the most powerful 16a; summer runoff series about the existence 2.5a,6.5a,9.5a primary cycle; autumn runoff series there2a,6.5a,11a,22a around the main cycle to the main period of the oscillation energy of the most powerful 11a; winter runoff series there is2.5a,4.5a, andl2a,18.5a around the main cycle, especially in the main period of the oscillation energy of the most powerful 18.5a. The study area, annual runoff series there was 4.5a,7a,12a,20a scale around the main cycle, especially in the main period of the oscillation energy of the most powerful 7a. The main period of runoff of four seasons concentrated in the small time scale, the oscillation energy of the most powerful concentrated in the high frequency of temporal change.
