Source rocks are rich in organic and inorganic matter. Organic acids are commonly found in sedimentary organic matter, are common components of immature-low mature oil and source rocks extraction. There are some kinds of inorganic elements that acts as a catalyst in source rocks. In this paper, different approaches are used for organic extraction of source rock and four components in organic matter are analyzed, the distribution of the total extraction rate of organic matter is studied in different layers and depths, The experimental results show that extraction rate is higher by methanol-acetone- chloroform, and content of organic matter is higher in Es3 and the deep color shale. In the experiments, the back titration method was used to determine the total organic acids content and investigated the solvent extractions, boiling time, titration methods and such factors to determine the impact to the result. The experimental results show that the smaller the core particle, the higher extraction rate, In the experiment the rock could be rubbed to 160 mesh.The solvent mixture of benzene/ethanol/water(volume ratio=1:2:0.15)has a better extraction than any of ethanol, benzene-ethanol and toluene-ethanol. Ultrasonic wave is used for extraction of water-soluble organic acids, the back titrimetric potential method is used to determine water-soluble organic acids content, The experimental results show that Ultrasonic extraction of one hour is best. Range of the total organic acids varies between 0.0800 mmol·g-1 and 0.5000 mmol·g-1, but the water-soluble organic acids in the total acid content are generally higher than the proportion of 20%. Meantime, Atomic absorption spectrometry is used to determine metal element(Ni,Mn,Fe,Zn,K)content, the distribution of metal element content is studied in different layers and depths. The experimental results show that the content of five metal elements in Es3 are more than in Es4,and content of iron is most among five metal elements.
