Transformer is an important part of warship's electrical system, and its anti-shock property of underwater explosion significantly impacts naval vessel's life force and battle effectiveness. In this paper, a finite elements model of warship transformer including its every part is established. With the finite element method, the characteristics of vibration under pretightening force, the emulational calculation of shock response and the value of shock limit load under non-contact explosion are investigated on the transformer's model. Through studying the transformer's shock damage mechanism and analysing anti-shock weak links of the warship transformer, measures for improvement of the transformer's anti-shock capability is brought forward.Following aspects are included in this paper. First, by using ANSYS tool, the finite elements model of warship transformer is detailedly builded up. Through the finite elements model's mode analysis, the transformer's inherent model characteristic is analysed. Via computing the mass and the center of mass of the finite elements model and comparing the design and calculation of inherent frequency, the model's rationality is validated. Second, transformer's shock load is studyed, the two kinds of model of shock response are on emulational calculation, and shock load's influence over warship transformer is analysed. Third, with the three kinds of computational schemes, the emulational calculation of shock limit load is researched. Fourth, this paper analyses the transformer's shock damage mechanism, finds out anti-shock weak links of this type of warship transformer, and gives measures for improvement of the transformer's anti-shock capability, including improving on transformer's weak links, studying thickness of the seat's influence over shock load of warship transformer, discussing bolts'pretightening force, and adopting defended measures of shock, etc.Through establishing finite elements model and analysing the calculation of shock response, a series of valuable methods and conclusions about warship transformer's finite elements modeling, shock limit load's calculation and anti-shock capability are obtained. It can be available for reference to study anti-shock capability of warship mechanical and electrical equipment.
