The contents of this article focus on the application of two-stage test in the equiva-lence test area. The first chapter introduces Stein's two-stage procedure. He construct two testing procedure by giving two different test statistics, and demonstrate that the second proce-dure will be better than the first procedure on their power function. Because the main purpose of this article is to deal with equivalence problems, applying two-stage procedure into equivalence test not only provide us a new testing method, but also easy for us to get the total sample size for the test. Besides, when the costs of the experiment will be greatly affected by the number of test stages, two-stage or multistage test will be convenient for us to control the costs. This article incorporate two-stage equivalence test onδandδ/σ, and introduced two one-sided test to maintain the advantages of two-stage procedure on the aspect of power function.
