With the acceleration of urbanization, problems of urban construction and management become increasingly serious. At present, spatial information is stored with numerous formats, and maintained by different department, so it leads to repeat development and waste. In addition, most of existing spatial information ignored the performance of semanteme and topological relationship, and it doesnot meet the needs of subject inquire, spatial analysis and the spatial data mining. CityGML is an urban geographical markup language created by OGC, is a common information model of urban 3d objects which takes both the semantic attribute into consider. CityGML will undoubtedly promote the development and applications of 3D city GIS. CityGML mainly focused on the storage, management and exchange of urban model. Therefore it has important significance for us to study the related storage technology of CityGML The following are the main research contents:1) In consideration of the 3d virtual city model of the space and semantic structure is more complex, the data sets of CityGML is very large, how to store CityGML data efficiently is a key problem for Optimized query. Based on the existing CityGML model, this article proposed a simplified method from recursion simplified and the replacement of geometric design and the other four aspects, Realizing the simplified of data storage and convenient to inquiry.2) Mapped CityGML simplified model to a compact relational database model, preliminary attempt to optimize mapping on the main CityGML classes, the whole root elements and attributes of the CIASS-ID. Avoiding multiple list, reducing the connection, and improving the performance of the database, convenient to directly access database,and help for some typical database queries.3) We realized the input and output of data with using Citygml4j programming methods, also we did related test. The results of experiment show that this scheme is practical and feasible.Finally, we successful realized the storage and operationsof spatial data with two sets of data. Experimental results show that this scheme is practical and feasible and it provides integrity of data storage solutions for CityGML.
