| Kuhn was a modern American famous scientific historian and Philosopher seientist.He has a deep and complicated influence on the field of scientific philosophy just because he posed the theory of Paradigm from the point of scientific history.This essay completely illustrate the contemporary significence and value which Kuhn's thought on the philosophy of science has brought about. The essay is divided into three chapter:The first chapter,first of all, it is bout the social and historic background which kuhn's theory developed and the conclusion is that it is the tendency of the systematic natural science and the general development that promoted kuhn's theory. Secondly,throught academic discussion how his theory produced,it is clear that the system of kuhn's scientific philosoph Kuhn's thought on the philosophy of science is thought based on not only criticizing the wrong view of logic positivism and falsificationism, but also combining the study tradition of Pragmatism and scientific history, and obsorbing their reasonal ideas.The second chapter,this essay narrates the main content of Kuhn's thought on the philosophy of science from three aspects of the theory of paradigm,the scientific development model and the historic methodology,relatively,analyses the progresses and their limitations from these three aspects.The third chapter,I summarize the realistic significance of Kuhn's thought on the philosophy of science-it broaden the perspective that we research the philosophy of science history, promoted the new development of SSK, and broke the distence between science and humanity,so it is the bridge which combined the philosophy of science,scientific history and SSK.Finally, from what stated above, we can draw the conclusion that Kuhn's thought on the philosophy of science not only builds a bridge for the philosophy of science,scientific history and SSK,but also provides the new opportunities to the later development of the philosophy of science.
