The theory of entropy and dissipative structure originated in the thermodynamics has been widely applied to the physical, chemical, biological, economic, and even the field of philosophy. In recent years, scholars have tried in the field of education on the use of entropy theory research to address the education and teaching in the relevant issues.With our new curriculum reform deepening continuously, it has become the primary purpose of teaching subjects to develop learning ability of students. As a key factor in cognitive development of students, how to develop students'ability to learn in the classroom has become what a majority of scholars and teachers are focusing.In this study, we used the theory of entropy and dissipative structure in irreversible thermodynamics to research the learning ability of students to study the chemistry, in which we believe that the learning capacity development process is far from equilibrium one, in this process there is an important state function-entropy. When the change of external condition reaches a certain threshold, the learning ability of students will be converted into a structural ordered state, to reach a new level. The paper described that the dynamic of development of learning ability of students is due to the internal system and external conditions of two parts, the general direction of its evolution is becoming increasingly complex, could be divided into interrelated and mutually conditioned three phases of high to low. In this evolutionary process, the paper suggests the development of learning ability of student's entropy model and calculation method. Through analyzing the entropy of the process of student learning, teachers can infer and research the state of disorder and uncertainty in the development of learning consequently, the entropy of the system can be maintained at a relatively low level to make sure that the learning ability of students efficiently and orderly developed in accordance with established goals. The paper measured out the entropy values arising from different factors in the different stages of the learning capacity building such as teaching objectives, student experiences so as to guide a comprehensive optimization of these factors to accelerate the formation and development of learning ability of students.
