This thesis linked to a concrete project and based on the analysis of previous effects home and abroad. It gives the risk assessment of Leri ditch debris and the hazards induced by the debris to the railway from Chengdu to Kunming.The specific circumstances of the Leri ditch topography, lithology, catchment conditions and loose material were investigated.According to the slag sample test, it studied the possibility of the outbreak of debris flow, and calculated the peak discharge of debris flow, debris flow velocity flow, debris flow volume and duration, high debris flow curve,the maximum impact from the plot slop and the height and the frequency of debris flow under the storm conditions. The hierarchy process (AHP) method was adopted to analyse the affect caused by the risk of debris flow gully factors. Then, a leri.ditch of debris hazard evaluation of indicators system was built, and the participate in the evaluation factor weights were calculated. Following a single debris risk assessment model, high agreements of the verified results and the actual situation were showed. This study combined both quantitative and qualitative methords, the problem of debris comprehensive evaluation was well resolved. Liuxilin's model on Leri ditch debris for risk evaluation was employed here. Through the selected analysis of the influence of the major risk of debris risk factors and minor risk factors, the two facts were determined. With debris hazard assessment formula and standard for leri.ditch.debris risk assessment and analysis of the debris flows on a commercial, the harm of mining area in leri.ditch was evaluated. At the end of this thesis, it provided a scientific basis for the rustainable economic development, agricultural production, transit construction and disaster reduction planning. This research based on a concrete project, so the results had strong practical value and reference intermediate value for assessments for the similar cases.
