Tianguishan area in Hebei province develop the northern distinctive features of Karst landscape, but the basic and systematic research work is less , moreover the existing research pay more attention to the types and characteristics of cave's landscape resources, not to the overall understanding of the formation and evolution of the regional Karst system . Based on previous studies, the Karst regional types were studied on characteristics and rule of distribution of Tianguishan from the point of view of regional Karst system. It analyses constraints and the impact of the natural geographic factors on the formation and evolution of the system. using the theory of dissipative structure it explores the formation and evolution of Karst. So it can draw the following conclusions:1. the main types of surface Karst in Tianguishan area are swallow hole, Karst valley, dry valley, Karst isolated hill, natural bridge , etc; Underground Karst cave can be divided into two categories: erosion-type and accumulation-type, the former develop a variety of scallop, flute, notch and other erosive—dissolving landscapes and landslip (accumulative) landscapes, besides develop less chemical deposition landscapes. The latter develops all kinds of chemical accumulation landscapes.2. Tianguishan has undergone several intermittent tectonic uplift movements during Quaternary period, under its influence and control, the Karst landscapes show the features from fracture to development and distribution in surface, the formation of Karst in different periods has the features of layer distribution.3. The formation and evolution of Karst systems are influenced by a variety of natural and geographical factors. The most influencing factors are geological conditions and climate conditions among them. Geological conditions not only provide the material basis for forming of Karst, but also control the distribution of the topography system; Climatic conditions, temperature and precipitation make greater impact on the rate of Karst dissolution, which restrict the formation and evolution of Karst system. 4. To the point of Theory of dissipative structures,Karst system is an open system and exchanges with the external environment between the material and energy continuously. Tianguishan experienced five intermittent tectonic uplift movements during Quaternary period.Three tectonic uplift movements strongly influence the whole evolution of Karst systems, which lasted longer, uplift amplitude, spread wide in the Pleistocene period. Two tectonic uplift movements weakly affect the whole evolution of Karst systems, which are short time, small uplift during the Holocene period. With the increase of negative entropy, the system rapidly increases the internal entropy through the ways of higher terrain, the broken rock, erosion of space, the collapsed cave and the deposition in the uplift stage, the result is that the total system of entropy increases largely, the system is moving away from equilibrium into chaotic environment; while the outside entropy of the system decreases a relatively stable construction stage, the structure of system shows erosion of rock dissolution and further development of cave (smaller rock avalanche or various Material deposition) and so on, the system of entropy increasing slowly, the smaller required flow of negative entropy result in the total decrease of the system, the system develops into a relatively stable situation. So each tectonic uplift would breaks the former relatively order state of the system, and make the system enter into the new evolution from disorder to order. The three intermittent tectonic uplifts break the system state entered a new evolution from disorder to order process during Pleistocene period. While the two intermittent tectonics uplifts ,which were short time, less uplift ,were less effect on the stability of the Karst system. The system can not be far from equilibrium ordered structure during Holocene tectonic.
