Long pipeline security question has already become the focus problem discussion on international. Because of China's complex terrain , pipeline engineering design and construction in inevitably across such different geographical environment as the river, roads, mountainous area.therefore, Pipeline crossing techniques is the difficult problem in pipe laying technology.The pipeline crossing distorted, wrinkles and fracture will cause pipeline transport disruptions, direct economic losses, destroy the environment. Therefore, the suspension type pipeline crossing, and the mechanics analysis, which can reduce the security research across the hidden trouble in the pipeline construction, reduce the risk of accidents and can save the cost of pipeline, optimize the allocation of resources, and will bring huge economic benefits and social benefits.The main contents of the paper were as follows:For suspension type pipeline crossing mechanical and security research, the impending period of simplifying the pipe with large deflection beam, Finite-length beam will be considered as the location, soil physics of longitudinal force of nonlinear, fixed position, pipeline temperature, the mound, self-respect and across the coating thickness of deflection, bending, stress,Analysis crossing Pipeline's crack forms and types, discussing the brittle fracture and elastic fracture failure criteria and their application conditions. The main criterion of brittle fracture theory are the Theory of energy balance to determine and the stress intensity factor fracture theory. The main criterion of elastic-plastic fracture mechanics are the theory of Crack Tip Opening Displaeement and J integration theory.and analysis of crack tip of the stress and strain field.The fatigue crack damage or intensity failure are caused by the influence of forces generated by large deformation and displacement For suspension type pipelines. Need to design the reasonable compensation to absorb piping displacement, in order to reduce the axial stress within the pipeline, preventing pipeline rupture. This paper makes primary research on the design of compensator,and establish the caleulation models of compensator's position and absorbed displacement; contrast and make some correetions to the intensity design of compensator in active criterions.
