Xingnan Developing Zone has now entered into the development of mid-and-late phase.In order to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of development ,grasp the principle of remaining oil's distribution, determine the direction of remaining potential , urgency is needed to study into the basic geological work furtherly.This study, guided by a combination of sedimentology, structural geology and petroleum geology, making use of geological, geophysical exploration, well logging, logging and other information, divides Pâ… 3 of Putaohua oil formation in Xingnan developing area into four sub-units as Pâ… 31, Pâ… 32, Pâ… 33a, Pâ… 33b, and conducts large amount of work on division and correlation of layers, identification and division of sedimentary microfacies, identification of abandoned channels in horizontal and vertical profiles, and point bar.Studies have shown, Pâ… 31, Pâ… 32 layers mainly delta distributary plain subfacies, Pâ… 33a, Pâ… 33b-layer is mainly delta front subfacies. Sediments of the study area mainly affected the northern part of material source control, in the meandering stream under the action of the movement mechanism, resulting in an abandoned river channels, this process resulted in the same time point bar side of the formation of the integrated Pâ… 31, Pâ… 32 relatively small layer of point bar development.
